The US Constitution defines the act of treason as follows, “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.” [Article III , section 3.]

Modern liberal Democrats scoff at the term “treason,” used by many other Americans with increasing regularity, to describe the recent string of overt actions by “democratic progressive liberals” seeking to regain political power. They scoff because there is no such thing as treason in their minds, and all things are fair game in pursuit of power, even at the expense of American lives, even when they find themselves the bedfellows of America ’s worst enemies.

If the left gains power, there will be trails for 'treason'. The left will declare anyone who protests their rule and idiotic ideologies as traitors to be silenced and punished.

I use comments from Howard Dean against talk radio and FNC during the 2004 race and the recent actions by the left against the 9-11 docudrama as just a few examples.

I forgot to add how Clinton used the FBI and IRS to 'investigate' and audit anyone influential who even whispered their opposition to him. Add that as another example.

On the other hand, Code Pink (and others) send money and supplies to the terrorists with help from Democrats in congress, protests in front of Walter Reed AMC and has photo ops with communist dictators. Even with that, not a single thing is done to them.
