Hey JohnHuang2, perhaps next Thursday you could do something on the criticism of "doing nothing" and the cry to 'do something' in Darfur...
Worldwide protests violence in Darfur
Tens of thousands of people rallied in cities across the world Sunday to protest the violence in the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan, and urge world leaders to intervene to resolve the conflict.
Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in New York City, religious leaders gathered outside Downing Street in London to pray for a resolution, and a candlelight vigil was held in Cambodia to remember Darfur victims.

Some info for you that might help...
What's UN Peacekeeping Doing in Darfur and Lebanon? September 22, 2006
Unfortunately, there’s still one big hitch -- the government of Sudan opposes the introduction of a peacekeeping force to Darfur. This may sound like a trivial matter in the face of the overwhelming military might of the rest of the world and stern global pronouncements against the tragedy in Darfur. But sending a multinational force into Darfur under these conditions would be asking us to "shoot our way in", and who would supply the forces we'd need? This would resemble war fighting not Peacekeeping and that's not what we do. Without at least the consent of the Sudanese government, it would be nearly impossible for the UN to place or even maintain a force in Darfur, much less a successful one.
Do I need an /sarcasm?

The Power Of Sin

READ: Romans 7:14-25

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us. —Hebrews 12:1

I was having lunch with a pastor-friend when the discussion sadly turned to a mutual friend in ministry who had failed morally. As we grieved together over this fallen comrade, now out of ministry, I wondered aloud, “I know anyone can be tempted and anyone can stumble, but he’s a smart guy. How could he think he could get away with it?” Without blinking, my friend responded, “Sin makes us stupid.” It was an abrupt statement intended to get my attention, and it worked.

I have often thought of that statement in the ensuing years, and I continue to affirm the wisdom of those words. How else can you explain the actions of King David, the man after God’s own heart turned adulterer and murderer? Or the reckless choices of Samson? Or the public denials of Christ by Peter, the most public of Jesus’ disciples? We are flawed people who are vulnerable to temptation and to the foolishness of mind that can rationalize and justify almost any course of action if we try hard enough.

If we are to have a measure of victory over the power of sin, it will come only as we lean on the strength and wisdom of Christ (Rom. 7:24-25). As His grace strengthens our hearts and minds, we can overcome our own worst inclination to make foolish choices. Bill Crowder

The price of sin is very high
Though now it may seem low;
And if we let it go unchecked,
Its crippling power will grow.  —Fitzhugh

God’s Spirit is your power source—don’t let sin break the connection.

Great thread. He's done so much damage to this nation and it's always about him. May I see the day truth is known to all about that administration and the Clintons.

That said, I did get a kick out of seeing him get unhinged and red in the face. Fighting for his legacy. The man who plays a smooth slick charming talker showed some of his true colors for all to see that day. Chris Wallace just sat there in amazement. LOL

Great thread, dutchess and JH2 - The Clinton Administration would be a hilarious interlude if it hadn't been so disastrous for U.S. interests.

Thank You, Lord, For President Bush..
