Kosovo was a terrible mistake, one of the many bad things that resulted was the lost of Russia as an ally. The US was wrong, badly wrong in Kosovo. Clinton and Chater are fools.
Putin is in far greater control of Russian foreign policy than you give him credit for. He's hardly so unimaginative that he would only react to what the U.S. did under a previous President (Russian and American), and then stay on that course for a decade.
From our perspective, it was a mistake. But, from the inner government's point of view, and the strategy it is working quite well and is almost going according to plan. This is the kicker.....it was not by a mistake by no stretch. It was well orchestrated and planned right down to the disinformation, exaggerations and outright lies......for several objectives.....and it's working right now. We have to put a stop to it by writing your congressman to fight against our government supporting an Independent Kosovo for one.
Oh by the way.....Russia is the target and they know it already as does Serbia. This is the kicker. Clark ordered a British General to Block the Russians advance to take the Pristina Airport. The Brit General basically told him (Clark) to stuff it....he wasn't starting WWIII for him. Clark somewhere along the way, I am told was relieved of his command......for some reason I don't know for sure. But apparently warranted. Russia is the target as kosovo is designed as a chess piece to move on toward the other Russian states.
