You post so many articles, but you don't add a comment, it would be nice to hear your opinion on the articles you consider important enough to post.

It's not so much a reinvention as a takeover. He's a Kennedy hand-puppet now. You can almost see his wife's bony knuckles poking through his neck as he lip-syncs to Socialism's Greatest Hits.
That being said, he's far, far preferable to Angelides. But that doesn't mean I'm not bitterly disappointed at Arnold's embrace of big, big, bigger government, more and more debt, and spending that's skyrocketing as Grey Davis could only dream of.

You mean, the RINO has reared his ugly horn.

Instead of the partisan assault on public employee unions and Democratic legislators (a.k.a. "girlie men") that marked his rhetoric in 2005, Schwarzenegger has negotiated agreements this year on a minimum-wage increase, higher school spending, curbing air pollution and a mega-bond sale designed to meet overdue highway, flood-control and school-construction needs.
Hooray! Let's smoke some clove cigarettes and play a round of grab ass.

I think Arnold's rising fortunes, are a result of all those Dem ads saying "George W. Bush".
Might explain Bush's rising numbers, as well.

Now I do not live in California and have not been there since 98' but I do have a few thoughts.
California is at best a center left state at worst its the most liberal state other then Massachusetts. A true blue conservative is not and until the political landscape changes, will never win there. If Reagan were governor today and governed the same way he did, many here would be calling him a RINO and we know that simply is not the case. Now I have no illusions Arnold is a conservative I believe he is a "pragmatic liberal" like Nixon was but I believe he is a devoted republican, I mean come on being a republican in California is not really going to score you points politically. He has if I understand correctly shrank the states deficit from its frightening levels just a few years ago. Now he could do more to rein in spending but at least you got someone who will veto some of the kookier and more outlandish things the Dem controlled legislator sends to his office. I mean come on if Arnold was not in office now, you very well could be looking at the complete socialization of 17% of the states economy and 2 month wait times for your "free" doctors appointment.
Arnold may be on the bottom of your list for ideal republicans but he sure the hell beats any demonrat.
end rant/tyrade.

I'll bet Maria gives him more than just a backrub when stories like this come out in the Washington ComPost!

A GOP Governor Finds the Key: Independence It seems to me that a truly courageous man would run as an actual Independent, rather than as an Independent camouflaged as a Republican.
If we're to take Broder at his word, he's endorsing running under whatever party banner will get you elected, and then switch to whatever you really feel like inside afterwards.

Lies...calling Arnold a "GOP governor" is really stretching it.

The key he has found is that to get re-elected in a moonbat state he better act more like the moonbats.

Become a Democrat in all but name. No wonder the Drive Bys are having orgasms over Arnold.
