I have to check on what happened to Jr other than the hole in his front grill that they patched early on, but appeared to have come loose. He said they had a bad stop on that last two tire gas and go.

Thing is you don't know how much you have until you do run out. I found out my GMC had 2/3 rds of a gallon more than the rated gas tank size, only by runnin' out. But I had a gas can in the trunk...

If ya can, check on the smoke thing to. Yesterday's practice, today - twice. Something not kosher.

Jr had a good race. And DJ came close to ending it for him!

Coming out of the turn (4 - ?) DJ's rear end decides it wants to lead. He corrects. Guess who is beside him on the left - the 8 car. Jr was obviously paying attention. When DJ corrected, it went to the left a bit - and Jr took a hard left to get out of the way. No harm to either but I had the nightmare scenario going through the brain.

We were "In-car" with Jr when that happened.

My boy was very much animated at that point!

Jr was 102 points out before this race - now 123. Man, this is hard.

And Smoke coasts to victory. Too cool.
