He has a double digit lead in the Ohio polls. Blackwell would win but the RINOs loathe him and Ohio voters want to cast a protest vote against Taft.

Strickland says he has a "plan" for creating jobs and boosting the state economy, and he will reveal what that is after he wins the election, not before. IOW, shut up and trust me.
Maybe his plan is to boost the state's economy by making it the abortion capital of the country? That would sure be a boost to the baby killing industry.

Ohios got a big problem with its image and with its attitude, Strickland told the newspapers editorial boardMore concerned with "image" and how it looks, rather than the actual....you know, life of innocents.
Soulless ghouls. Pretty neatly sums up the democrat position.

I have never thought of the abortion industry as a huge job creation industry. Old Ted doesn't have much of a clue on how to transmit his great logic into votes...does he?

Blackwell is my favorite candidate this cycle. Unfortunately, it appears he has not a chance....and 99% b/c of that corrupt idiot RINO that went ahead of him.
Oh, well...Blackwell's not done on election day. At least I hope not. He's young enough to live to run another day...win...and then.....who knows??
To: RockinRight
Unfortunately, this meatball is probably going to win because current governor Taft was such an incompetant RINO.

...Ted Strickland yesterday told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Ohio is a backwards state because of restrictions on abortion and embryonic stem cell research. This is interesting. I noted earlier in the year that Strickland was running on a pro life platform. I wonder if he has internal polls that say shore up your base.

Please, please, let us see some ads such as the following
First let the bumpersticker strip fade in:
Strickland says
"Ohio is a "backwards state"
With the voice over: "Ted Strickland, Democrat candidate for governor told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Ohio is a "backwards state" because of Ohio citizens strong views against abortion on demand.
Ted Strickland wants to bring jobs to Ohio by having no restrictions on abortion.
Ohio has an "image and attitude problem" and since Ohio is made up of its citizens, Ohio citizens by extension have an image and attitude problem.
We need to let Ted Strickland know what Ohio citizens think of our image and attitude and vote for Ken Blackwell"
Fade to new bumpersticker
Ken Blackwell
Jobs for Ohio is his focus and pledge, not more abortions.
Voice over, "Ken Blackwell pledges job creation his number one priority as governor and devote his first 100 days in office to creating new Ohio jobs.
Ohioans are good, hardworking people with solid Midwestern values that are shared by Ken Blackwell."
Paid for by the Ken Blackwell for Govenor Committee.
Talk about a gift ...Amazing, simply amazing.
Ads like this should run constantly the last two weeks of the campaign with no let up until the voting is complete.

What a stupid thing to say! What is this guy thinking? Restrictions on abortion is the reason why Ohio lags in jobs?! Spoken like a true, pro-abortion left-winger! It can't be because of the high taxes. No, of course not.
If this guy has a so-called "double-digit" lead, why on earth would he make such a statement? Perhaps he feels since he has such a lead, he can make all kinds of stupid statements like this and still win because people want the GOP to pay because of Taft. Well, I'm not so sure he has such a lead and anything can happen. It isn't over yet until the last vote is cast.
Until then, I say, keep it up, Taxin' Ted. Sure hope the Blackwell campaign will make the most of this in some ads.

Add this to the list of front page headlines you won't see in the Ohio media:
Strickland Calls Ohio a "Backwards State": Blames economy's woes on restrictions on abortion and embryonic stem cell research
Is there any doubt that if Blackwell had made such an insulting statement during a campaign-- publicly, on tape!-- that it would be plastered across every front page and lead every newscast-- TV and radio-- in the State. That's not bad enough. He then gives our "backwardness" (defined as: restrictions-- of which there are essentially none-- on abortion and embryonic stem cell research; and presumably our defense of marriage amendment) as the reason(s) for Ohio's sluggish economy.
If any Republican had ascerted such stupidity, they would then be hounded daily for comment about why they hate Ohioans and to defend their economic moonbattery-- and rightly so! But "The Stealth Candidate" gets a pass; and not just a pass, but gets protected from criticism.
Sometimes bias is exhibited by what you don't report as much as how or what you do.
Other headlines I'm still waiting for:
Strickland plans massive expansion of Medicaid: Believes adding hundreds of thousands to broken system and "living wage" revenue neutral
Strickland, Brown vote to support terrorists against the US: Vote against honoring sacrifices of troops, too!
Strickland ranks below non-voting members of Congress in power: Ranking shows he has zero success in legislation, less than zero influence with other members!
Strickland, Brown vote to defund NSA program: Prefer U.S. deaf in war on terrorism
