I never thought I would vote for Romney for president, but compared to all the other serious likely Republican candidates I've seen, he is far and away the best one out there.

He may not be my ideal candidate, but I think he is definitely the best choice of the current pack.

If he runs, there's a good chance I'll vote for him unless some better dark horse comes along.

I agree. Between McVain, Romney and Rudy, I think Romney is the most conservative and most electable. He has telegenic looks and probably the best ability to get the independent vote while generally maintaining the conservative base.

We just don't have the choice we had back in 1980 or 1984. Those were the days.
