Knees are fine (thet are problematic & I have taken anti inflammatory meds for about 15 years.. just OTC)

Biking & swimming are the easiest on knees... IF,

and this is a big IF.. the bike is fitted properly & if the seat is the correct height.

People who have knee problems in biking usually one or both of those make a difference.

Riding a GOOD bike does help also.. I visited my bro in Oka a few years ago & was going to bring my bike. He said not to bother, they had several.

Well, they were JUNK & I only rode a short distance & it was sheer torture. You get spoiled quickly when you use good equipment regularly.

This was really not a long ride. considered moderate in length
