DALLAS - Terrell Owens was taken to the emergency room for an undisclosed reason Tuesday night, and doctors treating the Dallas Cowboys receiver were trying to induce vomiting, according to a television report.
Time to call in the VK Clans.
Owens incident treated as attempted suicide.

Just damn.
Apparently this "lady friend" was not his wife, btw. I imagine that it's really hard to be T.O. but this is the last person I thought would try to off himself.
AP via FoxSports (as of 8:15 am CDT) - T.O. reportedly left hospital early WednesdayNo mention of a suicide attempt in the story.DALLAS (AP) - Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens was hospitalized Tuesday night after suffering an allergic reaction to pain medication likely being taken for his broken right hand, according to newspaper and broadcast reports.
"This is not serious," Owens' publicist Kim Etheridge said in Wednesday's online edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Owens, however, left the hospital early Wednesday, and the newspaper said area police would make a statement during "working hours."...
All the previous speculation of bad habits or questionable character that have been deleted from this thread were not so bad, compared to the incredibly destructive, selfish sin of suicide, and the pain it causes to everyone who cares for you.
"Profligate" is a great word, and we don't hear it enough anymore.
I cant stand the guy, but hope he gets help if this really was a suicide attempt.
According to a Dallas police report obtained by News 8, Dallas Cowboys star receiver Terrell Owens attempted suicide Tuesday night. The report says Owens was depressed and reportedly took prescription pain pills. A woman companion states that she observed him putting two pills in his mouth.
According to the police narrative, the woman said the prescription of 40 pills was filled on September 18 anduntil TuesdayOwens had taken only five pills.
The police report said Owens was asked if he had taken the rest of the prescription; Owens said, "Yes."
According to the report, police also asked if he was trying to harm himself. Owens answered, "Yes."
Owens was treated at Baylor University Medical Center
Yep, ESPN still has the "adverse reaction" to pain meds as well.
It's pretty obvious when you induce vomiting/pump the stomach on someone whether it's an allergic reaction or a suicide attempt based on the number of pills that come out.
T.O. has a lot of problems, and I'm no fan, but I pray for his recovery - mentally most of all. I don't get the feeling Parcells is the kind of guy you can talk to about your problems... while Andy Reid was. Sad that Andy couldn't help him.
Drudge has it on front page now...
I've seen the suicide report, but taking two pills rather than one sounds like an awfully weak suicide attempt.
Strike #120. I hadn't heard the last update when I posted it.

The way I read it he had a scrip of 40 pills, took 5 previously...then took 35 at once in the suidice attempt..
You may be a vegetarian college professor and drunken Christian womanizer at a coke party, but you'll always be known as a dork.
I hope he turns out OK. I know some people attempt suicide to get attention and others to be spiteful, but there are those who have severe mental illness and deserve our thoughts and prayers.
