Tonight from 6:00 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., FOX25 will air Battle For The Statehouse: The Gubernatorial Debate live from the FOX25 news studios. Hosted by FOX25 and The Boston Herald, the live debate will be the first time the general election candidates go head-to-head.
The candidates will square off in a debate. Those candidates are:
Deval Patrick (Democrat) Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey (Republican) Christy Mihos (Independent) Grace Ross (Green-Rainbow)
The debate will be moderated by FOX News Sundays Chris Wallace in front of a live studio audience. FOX25 Anchors Maria Stephanos, David Wade and Political Editor Joe Battenfeld will lead pre-debate coverage starting at 5:00p.m. Post-debate analysis begins at 7:10p.m. with the FOX25 News team.
The debate format calls for candidates to answer questions raised by Wallace as well as voters.
You will be able to watch the debate on FOX25 as well as here at myfoxboston.com. Check back here for the link to our live streaming page before the debate begins.
I was listening on the radio, and I popped on FOX25 and this thing is cutting into Seinfeld, dammit LOL!
Sorry to all y'all "native" conservative Massatoocents, but the voters of this state, who have enthusiastically self-inflicted Kerry & Kennedy on the nation year after year, deserve a White Lesbian Figurehead (are batteries included?).
I don't see Healey winning, especially with spoiler Mihos, who I prefer over Healey, sucking votes away from her.
Even if a miracle happened and Healey or Mihos win, it won't make a difference with the overwhelming Rat Hackorama majority in the statehouse. The most Romney has been able to accomplish is to use the state as a Presidential Candidate springboard.
When Deval gets elected, it'll give me all that more incentive to become a refugee from MA. Maybe being a refugee will qualify me for UN aid.
Besides, after Deval and his Merry Band of Moonbats are done trashing the state, there might be an awakening and the Rat Hacks might get voted out (Yeah, and pigs will fly out of my, well, you know).
I love the seasons (yes, even Winter & snow too), the history, the geography, the skiing, of Boston & New England, but I can't stand the Rats, Hacks or Moonbats.
Remember in a Republic, both the rich and the poor have a right to starve and live under a bridge, misquote of Anatole France.
I at least expect the starving rich and poor to come from Haverhill, not Lawrence or some other third world hell hole.
>>there might be an awakening
Like in '90 when we went to Weld, who had to clean up
Dukakis' mess?
I hope there are more jobs coming under Deval. I'll need a second or third one to pay the higher taxes...
If Patick wins, you might be right. The same thing happened with Florio in NJ; the Republicans swept in because people were so angry. 2008 may be a very good year to run as a republican for state rep if this happens.
I am still trying to figure out what precisely Christy said that has veterans fuming?
Christy said something about the swift-boating of Kerry...
As for Patrick, he is definately the moonbat candidate. He favors in-state tuition for illegal aliens and drivers licenses for illegal aliens. He also won't comply with the voter's decision to roll income taxes back to 5% but states he will focus on property taxes instead. Yo Deval, that is not what people voted on!
