Tonight from 6:00 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., FOX25 will air ‘Battle For The Statehouse: The Gubernatorial Debate’ live from the FOX25 news studios. Hosted by FOX25 and The Boston Herald, the live debate will be the first time the general election candidates go head-to-head.

The candidates will square off in a debate. Those candidates are:

Deval Patrick (Democrat) Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey (Republican) Christy Mihos (Independent) Grace Ross (Green-Rainbow)

The debate will be moderated by FOX News Sunday’s Chris Wallace in front of a live studio audience. FOX25 Anchors Maria Stephanos, David Wade and Political Editor Joe Battenfeld will lead pre-debate coverage starting at 5:00p.m. Post-debate analysis begins at 7:10p.m. with the FOX25 News team.

The debate format calls for candidates to answer questions raised by Wallace as well as voters.

You will be able to watch the debate on FOX25 as well as here at myfoxboston.com. Check back here for the link to our live streaming page before the debate begins.

Chris Wallace was just on Howie Carr show, saying that when Howard Dean was on his show a couple weeks back, Dean said that he was surpised Wallace was so tough on Condi Rice. "He signed this guestbook we have, writing, 'Chris Wallace: Tough but fair.' Two weeks later, the same man rips me for being right-wing and unfair. That's politicians for you I guess."

I don't know if Mihos can win but I wonder if he will take enough "anti-liberal" votes away from Healey to hand the
governorship to Patrick. As if it isn't a one party state
already, wanna go back to the glory days of Dukakis?

It'll bring the house down. ;)

I'm surprised he's still drawing breath.

In a one-on-one race,Healy would probably take it...assuming that her campaign was "taxes, taxes,TAXES!"

Just as certainly as Nader cost algore the Presidency in 2000,Mihos could cost Healy.

I suspect that it's just a question of if Mihos takes more votes from Healy than that lesbian takes from Patrick.

RINOs they may be, but Weld, Cellucci, Swift (blech!),
and Romney have kept the Corner Office free of Dems since
1990... I dread the prospect of a moonbat governor.

Can we raise taxes, fees and fines?
YES...WE...CAN! (chant at Patrick's primary victory
party)

Can we raise tolls?
YES...WE...CAN!

Can we give driver's licenses and in-state tuition to
illegals?
YES...WE...CAN!

Can we be a rubber stamp for a 90 per cent Dem
legislature?
YES...WE...CAN!

>>Mihos could cost Healy.

sigh...

>>than that lesbian takes from Patrick.

Grace Ross--yes, she'll be part of the debate--won't get too many votes even in moonbat land. They're ALL for Deval...

Hmmmm...ya never know.In this state,a lesbian who admits to being a Maoist trumps a black guy who'll only admit to be a "progressive".

Ah, the GOOD paper in town. Meanwhile I think today's Globe didn't even mention the Clinton interview! Herald had it on front page.

Christy is as liberal as Deval, except on a couple of issues, there is a possibility that he will draw votes from him.

It looked to me like Clinton was about to do a header across the table and grab Wallace by the throat. Chris Wallace was someone I didn't want to see on Fox news when he took over the Sunday program because I thought he was an abject liberal like his Dad. I am glad he isn't and seems to be just a good newsman who will ask the hard questions, a lot like Brit Hume.

My first question: What government officials, at the state and local levels should be in prison because of the Big Dig Scandal?

My son called me the day after the primary, foaming at the mouth over Devals win. A lot of very politically incorrect language about the state of politics in Mass.

I asked him why he didn't crossover and vote for Gabrielle, he is unenrolled, I don't vote for no, allot of profane language, rats. I said you may have screwed yourself.

I already have a refuge in NH.

Deval is back to his "can't we all get along, and stop the negativity" feel-good rubbish right now in the debate.
