I live in the Washington, DC area and returned from a tour in Hawaii in May 1993. This was before FNC, the Internet - as it is today, and FreeRepublic. On the local news channel - must have been NBC 4 because that is what we watched prior to getting FNC - the local newsreader shows a clip of Clinton being shown something in Washington, DC w/Eleanor Holmes Norton, then Mayor of DC. Well, something went wrong or it was not set up right, whatever. What I do remember is Clinton - as President - taking aside some low-level staffer and basically verbally laying into this person. Cursing like a drunken sailor. The cameraman had it all on tape. I think it ran for that newscast and then down the memory hole. I would bet a dollar to a donut the tape does not even exist anymore.

Point is - as everyone here knows - this clown was a sociopath back then and has only gotten worst over the years, being coddled by the media.

I remember that! Clinton grabbed his staffer by the coat on the shoulder and kept saying"come here you, come here you! It was a muddy construction area with planks on the ground to walk on. The staffer stopped Holmes and told her she couldn't go any farther with Clinton. They showed it on the local news then it disappeared.

I always like to think back to when the Senate was trying to nominate John Bolton and the main issue opposing him was that he had a temper with his staff.

Bolton is up for renomination, I bet this issue does not come up again.

I remember this too. I must have seen it on Rush Limbaugh's tv show.

I saw that clip also...he was touring some low-end housing, and was taped viciously berating his people over some trivial item. Very telling indeed.

I posted before I read your post. If it's the same one I saw it was on Rush's TV show and it was at the first white house easter party. They had run out of eggs so naturally Bill's first reaction was to rip some poor aide a new hole. It only got shown on Rush's show. At least that video clip has to be in some archive of Rush's TV show somewhere. And, econprof, I use to belong to Rush's website but I never could get a human to answer my e-mails. I even offered to buy a copy of every one of his show's so I could get a copy of that clip. Maybe Rush will remember and re-play it sometime.

See my question at post number 306. I think it is the same thing you are referring to. It was such a shock to see a POTUS act that way that I never forgot it. Given all we know now it was an early look at the real Clinton.
