Well, should I get my tin foil or does any of my pathetic little thoughts make any sense? Has my memory of these events failed me??

You can never go wrong claiming that clinton is a liar.

You are correct, and his talent for aggressive rapid fire speech, aimed mostly at supporters, has used this diversion-from-reality technique for his entire presidency. The sycophantic media never once said "hey, wait a minute. You said x, now you are saying y."

We must read Clintons new book "I'll never wag my finger again". It's bound to be a best seller.

'right wing conservatives' were constantly complaining that he was too obsessed with bin Laden.= total fabrication by Clintoon.

I don't remember anyone sugesting he was preoccupied with Bin Ladin because he WASN'T. The man claims to have been obsessed with him, but can't point to any sustained effort to kill or capture him. In fact, he publicly admitted that he didn't get him when he could have.
The man is a narcissist in the purest sense. Hillary, with her fits of rage and physical violence, is a classic boderline personality. No wonder they've stayed together so long. When a narcissist finds a boderline they become fused for life.... They'll kill eachohter or eventually die trying

Clinton really should have just let the whole matter die down. Most Americans would have forgotten the allegations by now. What he's doing is a good situation for the Republicans ... keeping the whole issue in front of their minds so close to elections.
One thought keeps occuring to me as I see his ranting ... "the man doesth protest too much". Someone must have hit a raw nerve.
Clinton's "legacy" is getting more and more tainted.

Clinton did have a valid point in saying GWB had the right to promote democracies in the Middle East. In that he differs from many of the other Dems, not to mention Pat Buchanan.

Yes you are correct. "Wag the dog" was not about OBL, it was about bombing Serbia to take the news stories away from Monica. I was as interested in politics then as I am now, I don't recall even knowing anything about OBL at that time.
I remember being extremely put out with Starr because he was focusing on sex in the Oval Office and not on selling nuclear secrets to China. I didn't care what BJclinton did with Monica, I still don't.

Slick is a very clever, sly lying sack of sh*t. He was trying to fool gullible people into believing that he was all over Bin Laden during his presidency when in fact he was not. I, like you, have no memory whatsoever of Clinton ever uttering Bin Laden by name during his presidency, not once. History should sum up Clinton with one word:
LIAR!

Pffft...and why should anyone believe or pay attention to Clinton's antics? This is a man who got on national attention and emphatically denied having sexual relations with Monica Screwwhenski. The guy knows how to act and "put on the dog". Are we now to believe he's a wounded saintly type of guy? Pffft!!!!!
I don't believe a thing this pathological liar says.

Just more self serving revisionist lies timed to minimize damage to his false "tough guy" image.

All the wag the dog references in the 90's had nothing to do with bin Laden, but had everything to do with Serbia and Milosevic, as far as my meager memory serves. I may be wrong, and I may be unaware of statements to the contrary but as far as I can remember, all those references were regarding Milosevic and Serbia.Excellent memory, and strange that nobody on the show recalled that. Perhaps you should e-mail Chris Wallace and point it out.

I vote for the "is lying" part. He's doing his best to confuse the public about the REAL history of what went on. Trying to preserve what little legacy he's got left!

Clinton keeps claiming that 'right wing conservatives' were constantly complaining that he was too obsessed with bin LadenI'd like to see film footage where an actual Conservative ranted about this I don't think i have ever seen ANY Conservative claim this ! I know i heard plenty of them including myself scream about him being a lieing bastard about many things but bin laden was never one of them at least about him obsessing he used bin laden for excuses but never because he was chasing him but to cover up him chasing a skirt !

Wag the Dog arose because of the fact that Clinton bombed the aspirin factory the night before scheduled impeachment vote. The other bombing was in response Iraq's attempt on Geo. H.W. Bush's life when B41 was in Kuwait for a victory lap.

Your memory is spot on. The lying degenerate sinkEmperor is trying to write the historical memory of his legacy. He is a liar and is always deceiving ... only when he is deceiving and getting dupes to swallow his koolaid is this degenerate man 'alive' otherwise he is a dead soul, a rotten tree from which thousands of sour acorns have fallen, the axis of acorns marshaled to balm sinkEmperor's egomaniac lust for worship.

My memory is that he was criticized for blowing up an "aspirin" factory. His timing and lack of further action is what concerned us "right wingers"!
To: technomage
I think if you do some Googling around you'll find the aspirin factory in Sudan and the two tents and a camel taken out in Afghanistan were also part and parcel of "wagging the dog".
