I'm with you. A THUD....BigTime!
LOL, good point anita.
Byron York would be the most likely candidate to respond to the toon's outburst.
York knows this stuff backward and forward.
If I'm not mistaken Brit signed a long term contract not so very far back....says this is the job he loves and has no intention of leaving! His wife must have gotten an offer from somewhere that she couldn't refuse.....I love Brit!
hallelujah!
I don't know - from what I've read, the Dims are doing their best to discredit him. Like others today have said, I had a lot of hope for him, but I don't think he's quite ready for prime time as a Pres yet. From what I've seen, he is a good Senator though, so I sure hope he gets re-elected.
He does look ill. And catch the look in his face when Wallace thanks him for the interview. He looks like he knows he's blown it.
Imagine if Bush or Cheney went on a tirade like that on national television. He'd never live it down.
By the way that is a very recent photo of the VP taken on 19th September 2006.
Must bail out now to sort dinner out (roast lamb today followed by blackberries in a sponge flan with cream).
If you I do not catch you before see you all next weekend.
LOL! Absolutely!! Where the Pubbie congresscritters and strategerists don't always do a good job of bashing the Dims lies w facts, there are many on this forum who could do so in a NY minute!
While they discussed the NIE did Sch. or McCain mention the video of Menchaca and Tucker that just came out, Burned and dragged through the streets? I thought not.
Gorelick? These folks really have a set. How they can walk around without trying to kill themselves... much less show their faces and lie some more is beyond me.
Russert just gave him the mike... and went to work under the table. The DBM... just swallowing what informed America refuses to swallow.
I remember this vividly. the press was with him in the NE, can't think of the name of that place he always went. You could tell they were incredulous about the timing of the bombing. Fox interviewed the guy who wrote the book "wag the dog" the movie was based on.... he said he absolutely believed that presidents would wag the dog, lol.... the politicians put on a face probably so the US didn't look completely ditsy, but it was in most's minds pure wag the dog.
Bingo... I second.
After the segment, Clinton got in Wallace's face and told Wallace he would not get away with his line of questioning.
"There is no other way to say it, the former President lost it," said Wallace.
Clinton granted the interview to get attention for the Clinton Global Initiative, his philanthropic effort.
"CGI is a nonpartisan event, and so we thought it would be fair to do Fox News Sunday... When Wallace hid behind his viewers and attacked President Clinton's record on terror, President Clinton fought back hard, just like any Democrat should when they are attacked with a baseless attack," said Clinton spokesman Jay Carson.
Wallace responded, "My record and my performance speaks for itself. I ask probing questions of all sides."
ROFL
AV - I missed your post. I know that youtube had the video (or parts of it up yesterday). Jim Angle also played parts of it on Britt's show (filling in for him) Friday night. Maybe foxnews.com had it posted Friday or Sat? This thread was posted early yesterday a.m., so Reuters had it then, too
