Hmmm... compare and contrast:
Hate to say it, but I am actually rooting for the Serbs to kick our ass. source
I am an American, born and bred -- an "American nationalist" (AKA patriot) and it is from through the eyes of American ethic I see this Balkan blunder, just as the author of the original article does.

American patriotism isn't something you can cry up whenever it suits your agenda, Boka. It's either your agenda from the start or it's not.

Your agenda as far as the Balkans goes is dominated by Serbian nationalism from what I've seen, and it's going to bring you nothing but hair pulling disappointment as far as trying to reconcile it with the relevant portions of American foreign policy.

Ah schadenfreude. Such a guilty pleasure, and it couldn't be derived from a more deserving bunch of ethno-racist ignorami.

"schadenfreude"

Neo-nazi sadistic bliss -- bet they'll be lots of it in Hell, Hoppie.

No, Hoppie. I come from the "home of the free and the land of the brave". My frustration is that US actions in the Balkans couldn't be more cowardly and unethical -- and that cowardice does not represent who we are as an American people.

The day that you and your cold-blooded Nazi mentality represent "the real America", is the day that we should all start wearing black because America as we know it will be dead.

President Woodrow Wilson to Serb-American inventor Nikola Tesla, "A good Serb is a good American -- our values are the same."

There is no conflict for me, Hoppie.
