Gabriel Resources is actually a very, environmentally concerned company. The Romanians love it. They've done quite a lot to clean up the cyanide mess left by the previous Communist proprietors before it was shut down.

For what it's worth, I have had a small holding of Gabriel Stock for the past year, and it's done very well. But gold is correcting at the moment; I wouldn't recommend going into that sector until maybe mid November or later.
Needless to say, no one should buy any stock without doing due diligence, as well.
--I suspect that the mining companies that remain in business in the free world (after the big shakeout of the '80's and '90's) have done more environmental cleanup than any other industry group in the world--
