Actually, I'd find it an annoyance (and would lead to being lax on your security). When you use your hands to pat somebody down, your hand is free to grasp whatever you find, or your weapon if needed. If you've got a "wand" in your hand, your relying on something other than yourself. A wand would not pick up a plastic letter opener that could be used to kill you.
Crimes committed by the illegal invaders is so widespread, pervasive and out of control that it's frightening. The avergae non-political person on the street knows this now, but somehow the President doesn't know....... or doesn't care. I believe it's the latter. He views the illegals as a temporary boost to the economy and as the way out of the upcoming Social Security disaster... that's really all that matters to him and rest of our sorry 'leadership'.

I was present once when a fairly combative female was patted down, the whole nine yards, transported, etc. When being searched more thoroughly at the holding facility it was discovered she had a large metal sharpened nail file with a handle on it taped to her bosom. Scary stuff. If she had been patted down properly it should have been found. I think everyone was a little squeemish to get close to her breasts and she was counting on that.
Sure pays to be extra careful.

Growing up in Houston it was all to common for someone involved in auto accident to say "The other guy was illegal with no insurance". Only you and I have go by the rules.
Looks like that if we deported EVERY illegal alien crime will drop by about 30%.

During the time I was a cop, I ALWAYS considered females more dangerous. Part of that is it seems as if a female makes an allegation against a male, the male is almost always considered guilty until proven innocent, as well as the vicious qualities some women exhibit. I once had a woman use the handcuffs she was wearing to try and rip one of my fingers off by twisting the chain links on the handcuffs around my finger and then pulling on the finger.
