Not if Dick DeVos wins the governor's race. The Republicans in the Michigan Legislature have proposed a bill to make it easier to assess fines to the illegal striking teachers. They will each have to pay a fine equivalent to a day's pay for every day they remain on strike.

That ought to shorten their strikes.
