BEIRUT, Lebanon — Hezbollah's leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah made his first public appearance since his group's war with Israel began July 12, taking the stage Friday at a rally by hundreds of thousands of his supporters in Beirut's bombed-out suburbs.

Nasrallah had called the rally to celebrate the "divine and historic victory" over Israel, and supporters packed a lot for an expected speech by the guerrilla leader.

The crowd — waving hundreds of yellow Hezbollah flags — roared as Nasrallah appeared waving to the crowd, flanked by his bodyguards. An announcer said, "The leader has arrived."

Now theres a s suprise. Can anyone say Round 2.... and I predict a KO by the Isralis

Not as long as they have weak liberals in power, like we do. They won't act the way they used to and fully defend themselves. They have lost the will to fight as we have and the rest of the west. It's over man, prepare for a LOT of bad news!

How about a pool for how long until they start firing rockets at Israel again?

I give it a couple of weeks unless the Pope makes another speech and then they would blame the rockets on him.

So Nazzie pops his head out of his "hidey-hole".....

This reminds me of a joke from George Carlin's first album(when he WAS funny) "Take Offs and Put Ons":(paraphrasing here)

"Reuters on Thursday, on his 46th birthday, called on the leader of Hezbolla, the Grand, Almighty, Imperial, Invincible, Omnipotent Hassan Nasrallah, but unfortunately his wife wouldn't let him out of the bunker today"....

He's just torqued that he didn't get to speak to the UN.

Yes and Nasrallah ginned up quite a celebratory parade today with their usual paid crowds cheering that they defeated Israel in their little dust up.

"Wow, who would have figured that a terrorist would not disarm?"

Another agreement made with terrorists winds up being violated by the terrorists...shocking! Absolutely shocking.

And when Israel is forced, once again, to defend itself - the whole "condemn Israel" circus begins. It's like watching the movie Ground Hog Day.

I saw a live scene on Fox News this morning when I was getting ready to go to work, and all I could think was, "what a target rich environment!" A single pass of a B52 dropping a load would have been a really good thing.

I am so confused. I thought the reason Israel stopped killing these TERRORISTS was because they agreed to give up their weapons. Now they say they refuse, and they still have the soldiers they originally kidnapped. What is there to stop Israel from finishing what they started? (Aside from their pussylanimous leader?)
