Yep, free NY Times appeared in all our driveways Wednesday morning.

The ironies abound.

They've been reduced to physically forcing their unwanted product onto people's properties, so they can unethically claim phony circulation numbers.

Propaganda printed on the product of the destruction of vast numbers of trees, wrapped in a landfill-choking white plastic bag, wastefully delivered via a fossil-fuel-guzzling SUV.

And the driver undoubtedly paid minimum wage.

Just out of curiosity, are you in a "desirable" demographic? I would not be surprised if the New York Times is trying to boost numbers of certain types of subscriber that advertisers crave.

And the driver undoubtedly paid minimum wage.

If the driver makes minimum wage, I would be surprised. They are probably paid by the piece. If you add it all up and subtract out the cost of using their private vehicles, I would be really surprised if they are making minimum wage.

But that new building on the West Side isn't going to be built for free, you know. If the (almost 100% Hispanic) delivery drivers have to be screwed in order to build Pinch's Pleasure Dome, so be it!
