Don't even get me going on all this.
Infuriating!
But I have a rant about what is going on with all this bruhaha abot Senator Allen's ancestry.
I'm not from Virginia but Sen. Allen, if he can be convinced to, will probably run for president in 2008.
I am not Jewish nor of Jewish ancestry but I really don't think that what ever my ancestors were should have ne bearing on what I am today.
Let me explain
The media and the libs are having a field day over the fact that Sen Allen was of Jewish ancestry on his mother's side. They crow with glee because Allen never disclosed this fact, totally ignoring the fact that he never knew about it til a few days ago himself.
But, even so, what has that got to do with his performance as a senator or even if he were to become president?
How come they are all bent out of shape over his ancestry?
What differance does it make?
This has me seething becaus, as a genealogist, I find that it is my ancestory who have contributed to what and where I am today, the goes for Senator Allen.
So I wish these idiots would just get over the fact that they don't know every thing. and get a life.
BTW, I'm a Catholic of German ancestry and I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Jewish people.
I remember Our Lord was of that people.

Terror Alert in Oakland
OAKLAND , (CA) --Oakland Raiders football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Art Shell immediately suspended practice and called the police and federal investigators. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
