Yes, I wonder what this is all about!
-Eric
What does he know that we don't?
A coup?
What does "flees" mean? After all he doesn't live here.
Maybe the devil was after him, LOL.
So what does it mean?
Bye Baby!
Maybe he has suddenly realized he's not very welcome here in the USA.
He cancelled appointments this morning and a press conference.
I heard that he was scheduled to appear in Harlem to give away gas.Pat Kennedy and a bunch of other lefties were scheduled to appear with him. After yesterdays comments Kennedy suddenly cancelled his appearance with him along with quite a few others that bailed on Chavez.
If the dolts in Venezula and Iran had been up to it, this would have been their golden opportunity to get rid of these two crazies. Thailand's military wasn't asleep at the switch and had a plan in the can.
It means Drudge is looking for hits on his site.
Heh
I named the wrong Kennedy. I thought it was Pat.
run, pu$$y.....run..
Venezuelan president leaves the U.S.
Hugo Chavez cancels plans to appear in NYC for home heating oil assistance(New York - WABC, September 21, 2006) - Eyewitness news has learned Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is cancelling today's appearances in the city and heading home.
Eyewitness News reporter Ken Rosato is live in Harlem with the story.
Eyewitness News has learned that Hugo Chavez, who was to appear in Harlem at a Baptist church at 11:00 this morning to announce his home heating oil assistance program, that has now been canceled. The program was to help low income NYC residents, by giving them a discount at about 30 to 45 percent.
According to the Venezuelan mission Chavez had a conflict in his schedule but Eyewitness News has learned from some sources he may have left the country entirely, last night at 10:30 p.m.
Just yesterday, Chavez had hit the town last night and said that he would help a family in the Bronx save hundreds of dollars on their home heating oil. His intentions though were questionable since he and President Bush don't have the best relationship.
Just yesterday Chavez said President Bush is a dictator who thinks he owns the world.
"Yesterday the devil came right here," Chavez said, in reference to Bush's speech Tuesday.
Amid scattered laughter and applause, the leftist president of Venezuela mocked George W. Bush and insisted that American policies are the greatest threat to world peace.
"What type of democracy do you impose with marines and bombs?" Chavez said. Again, today Chavez was to announce a program through Citco, which is owned by the Venzuelan government, that he would have provided 25 million gallons of home heating oil for low income families in the five boroughs.
The program may be announced at another time but definitely not today. The White House is not responding, but many are now taking a closer look at Hugo Chavez and his agenda.
He learned Harry Belafonte contracted herpes.
