The Priorities NH Oreo Mobile is in New Hampshire through October! The Oreo Mobile uses giant Oreos to show how Congress divides the federal budget, and where the cookies would fall if they were stacked according to the people's priorities.

These folks were almost included in our local teen Center's "Kid's Day". They actually got a picture of the oreomobile in the paper with the write up for the event. A person at the Teen Center emailed me back after I questioned whether it was appropriate to have such a political exhibit; she said they didn't realize what it was when they planned to include it, and had already cut it from the event after discovering it's true nature.

I have two thoughts:

Does Oreo know they are being used in this manner?

And is the Oreomobile being inserted into public events like this by stressing the cookie angle and perhaps leaving out the political angle? I notice they have brought it to Unitarian churches and parades and give out lots of oreos to the kids.

What is this? Oreos are used as a slur against Black Conservatives. Is there a connection?

Liberals do appear to prefer oreos over other cookies.
