The lead singer spoke to the Vancouver Sun recently, saying, "but if you live in Lubbock, Texas, where I'm from -- you just have one paper and one radio station and unless you're savvy on the Internet, that's it for you. If Bush said get a gun and kill an Arab, they would do that."
It's a comment that isn't sitting well with some Lubbockites.

Thanks! Didn't see the poll until you mentioned it.
The only prob I had with it was "DOH" was not one of the choices.

Once in a while, I have to apologize for one of my fellow Texans. This is one of those times.

Leftie Moonbats encourage this behavior. Stupid celebrities are dumb enough to listen to the moonbats.

They've made their money. A lot of it. I believe both of the other women in this band are married and have kids. They simply have it on cruise control now trying to squeeze whatever blood is left from the stone.
I'm sure the Dixie Chicks will no longer exist within another year. The only thing left is for Natalie Maines to start vocally dissing country music and pound the last nail in her career coffin.
Natalie Maines will have a very unsuccessful solo career and you'll never hear from the other ones again.

The people who will never buy a Dixie Chick album nor attend one of their concerts will still be around long after President Bush leaves office. He will still be drawing a paycheck. I wonder if the Dixie Chicks will?

No, let her continue. When somebody wants to make a fool of themselves it is always best to get out of the way and let them do just that. This imbecile does a great service for conservatism - more people will want to avoid her camp at all costs.

I think they are joined at the tongue. After Emily Robinson gushed about her sexual threesome she had, she stated about soldiers and the American flag, calling them, "a sickening display of ultra patriotism".

Those two sisters got a new lead singers a few years ago. I think it's high time that they get that girl back or go get another singer.
I used to listen to their music and enjoyed watching them in concert. The two sisters (I think they're sisters) are quite talented. Natalie Mains is ruining their careers by not knowing when to SHUT UP.
