It's so easy to mouth platitudes but it's comical when someone asks why "good men" aren't fighting.

Talk is cheap. Putting one's butt on the line is real.

The Good Men are doing just that. What the heck good is some boob in a suit on TV yapping about how we have to do something about militant Islam going to do? Zilch.

SAYING one supports the troops in general is a nice gesture; pretending their work isn't the fighting the poster was calling for is embarassing.

The problem is our Government is allowing PC nonsense to get in the way of allowing the job to get done and done right. The liberals are to busy parking their heads up eachother's asses in the name of political correctness hamstringing our efforts, when will these idiots realize this is not a game?

The patriotism of troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are not at question -- they are willing to lay down their lives to protect us -- that's what they are doing. (And there are a few of them here with us on the board.) But what in the heck are we doing?

We are letting our government hand away Christian land just to try and prove "We love Muslims"??? We are supporting jihadist narco-terrorists and signing the death sentence of 100,000 Christians -- and for what? Because we are scared of these terrorist animals? MrDaddyLongLegs is right, we need to stand up and say "Enough!" This is not simply political, it is moral -- and if we don't stand for something then we will fall for anything!

You miss the point. It isn't that we don't support the troops, it is that our own government won't even admit the nature of the threat. Militant Muslims are only the tip of the iceberg. The threat is from an ideology similar to socialism or fascism. The threat is Islam, which by it's very nature is intolerant of freedom.

Until our politicians can stand up and say that our enemy is Islam, not just militant Islam, we cannot hope to win and our efforts will, for the most part, be wasted.
