Hahahahaha. He has to reintroduce himself, whereas algore had to reinvent himself.
Yeah. I definitely think so too! Just like the song, "A smile is just a frown turned upside down...smiling faces...sometimes they don't tell the truth.
Now I don't often make political contributions, but when the candidate reflects my opinions on things to such an astonishing degree, I just have to get in there and help out my little bit.
Not a really large contribution, mind, but the small ones all add up too. What is particularly troubling is that the National Republican Senate Campaign STILL has not seen fit to include the name of Katherine Harris in their marquee of stars for election to the Senate - but Lincoln Chafee is. Listen, I would swap away Katherine Harris for Lincoln Chafee in a minute, and let the Dem'crat be elected in Rhode Island. Then, two states would be better represented in Washington than they now are.
Bill Nelson is vulnerable. Florida STILL doesn't know who he is. Katherine Harris, on the other hand, has vastly more recognition, as there isn't ANYBODY who can't make the connection on who she is and her pivotal role already on the direction of national policy. It had to be something like divine intervention, that set the stage for having the right President on the job in 2001, for the tasks that lay ahead. She was the instrument of the hand of God, holding to the letter of the law when there was almost unbearable pressure from national media and political operatives to overlook a couple little factors.
The consequences of Al Gore as President on September 12, 2001, are just inconceivable.
Supporting Katherine Harris now is not just a reward for yeoman service to her state and nation, but a step in strengthening George W. Bush's hand in Washington and across the world. Bill Nelson will simply not do that.
And that, kids, is the simple choice.
"Apparently, the editorial opinion is more important than using proper English."
First things first.
"Who on earth is "President afterall"?"
Funny! That's the first thing I thought when I saw the headline.
If the objective of the headline had not been to sway the report negative, it would have read simply "Harris to stump with President Bush".
I think you're absolutely correct!
BTTT

You 'get it', alloysteel.
And I'm inclined to agree also.
There are a lot of folks who have very early sign-on dates and they sure don't sound like conservatives in the least.
And, as time goes on they are getting more and more argumentive.
It might not be a bad idea to purge the rolls I would think.
God bless Katherine Harris!
The "ass-maut"cadet b. Nelson who is going to be voted out of D.C. and sent into "space" for good!!!
The headline is typical of the Palm Beach Post.....which has a problem acknowledging the fact that George W. Bush IS the President of the United States!
Thank you, dear!
That is a beautiful picture of her!
God bless Katherine Harris.
May she beat the sox off of mr nobody nelson.

Or....administer a heavy dose of IGNORE. ;)
On Saturday, Katherine Harris put in an appearance at a meeting of the Republican Liberty Caucus in Orlando.
She wasn't riding a horse, but her throat was hoarse, from so many speaking engagements.
She was introduced by the local state Senator.
We were all very happy that she came to our meeting. She is, like Governor Bush said, our party's nominee.
I like Jeb Bush ... he has good sensibilities.
I vote purge....so we don't have to listen to their yapping! ;-)
"The headline is typical of the Palm Beach Post...."
True, but like NautiNurse pointed out, they had to invent a word to manage the negative spin. They're counting on people reading no further than the headline.
Wonder how they'll deal with it when Harris wins the Senate seat?
"She wasn't riding a horse, but her throat was hoarse, from so many speaking engagements."
LOL. When you're a candidate that's a good sign.
Good post! I agree with you.
Okay....you've convinced me....I change my vote to purge.;)
