I think it's Clint that posts the cats to make the gals upset (cats head stuck in wheel spokes and crazy stuff).
I found a site that looks like it could be his... if he's the one.
Irony of the day.
"Those who recognize the Iranian threat are left with the law-enforcement option. Police Commissioner Kelly, District Attorney Morgenthau, or any enterprising federal prosecutor or G-Man has a perfect opportunity at hand to seize Mr. Ahmadinejad and to hold him as a material witness or even as a suspect."--editorial, New York Sun, Sept. 19
"Employees of Ankara's Directorate General for Religious Affairs, or Diyanet, presented a petition to the [Turkish] Justice Ministry asking it to launch a probe into the pope's remarks and to detain him when he arrives, the Anatolian news agency said. They said the pontiff had violated Turkish laws upholding freedom of belief and thought by 'insulting' Islam and the Prophet Mohammed."--Reuters, Sept. 19
No one told me about this... here we go again.
The Gift That Keeps On Giving
"Senator John F. Kerry[*] yesterday called for a new national commitment to reduce the number of abortions, saying that both sides on the abortion debate can reach 'common ground' on the sharply divisive cultural issue that was prominent in his defeat in the 2004 presidential election," the Boston Globe reports:
In an intimate speech laced with references to his Catholic upbringing, Kerry chastised abortion-rights supporters and anti-abortion activists for the "overly partisan" tone that has polarized the nation. Despite their intense opposition, Kerry said, there are areas of agreement--such as tax credits for adoptive parents, more government aid for working mothers, and health insurance for everyone.
"Even as a supporter of Roe v. Wade, I am compelled to acknowledge that the language both sides use on this subject can be, unfortunately, misleading and unconstructive," Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, told an audience at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. "Instead of making enemies, we need to make progress."
So here's Kerry's idea of "common ground":
Abortion opponents agree to accept that any woman who wants to abort her baby has an absolute right to do so (per Roe v. Wade), at taxpayer expense ("health insurance for everyone").
In exchange, Kerry and his fellow abortion enthusiasts have to say that they devoutly hope that the various big-government social programs, which they would support anyway, will reduce the number of abortions.
Sounds like Kerry gets the better end of this deal.
* Don't get us wrong--we're not questioning Kerry's patriotism. This is a guy who not only served in Vietnam but was on track to earning 30 medals had he stayed on for a full tour of duty.

I called Senator Frists's office to get the name and number of the border bill and it was so funny. The guy was really nice and said it was really frustrating him because he had to look it up about 35 times today and couldn't recall it now and couldn't find the docket sheet. :)
But what he said was really interresting, he said that Senator Frist is EXTREMELY confident it will get a floor vote this week, and that it would go to Bush that day or the next day, as it's such a simple bill, basically authorizing and funding building fences on all areas of the border that are easily crossed, and Bush would sign it immediately and that would be it. And he said that they are VERy confident that they have more then enough votes to get the 51 needed for passage. All the blustering about this is empty posturing. Sounds like there will be a fence in the coming months, and that would be a good start. :) A heck of a lot more then the Democrats have done or suggested for securing the border.
Get your barf bag out. Pat the DUmmie up next.
What happen to the Rush Thread?
Another gift card moron.

I just watched Senator Frist on Hairball with Chrissy Matthews...it was the BEST interview I have ever heard Frist give...
He was very very strong towards Bush's GC stance..and he did NOT back down on anything, even with Chrissy getting nasty as usual.
I was his first segment...so if you watch the replay at 7:00 EDT...you might be surprised...but, you will also get from Chrissy the TACTIC that the dems are taking.
That's what the power button is for...
Sean seems too always fall for it.
Thanks for the update Texas....the best thing Frist and the President could do for the nation and the party is sign a bill to enforce the border, and take all the rest of the debate about immigration up later.
LOL
Thanks for the warning!
Wow Pat's on did you ever go to the Thread on his book?
Mute button time!
