Exactly. I actually have a good piece on how Saddam's regime wasn't secular after 1991, that he instituted Shria to save his butt after the post Desert Storm uprisings within Iraq. I love to hit the Saddam apologists with that one.
Good point. I believe he even changed the Iraqi flag, putting a koranic verse on the flag itself.
