MSNBC's Jay Barbree says that NASA may hold off on tomorrow's scheduled shuttle landing after cameras saw "something" floating nearby; NASA afraid that it may have been something that came off of the shuttle during an overnight engine burn. They're not sure if it is from Atlantis, or just space junk.
They want to check to make sure it is nothing from the thermal protection system on board Atlantis.

Fox News just stating it is a large object, not bolts, maybe just nuts and, lately NASA seems to have lots of them.

Scotty?
I dinna know, Captain! The hyperdrive for the main impulse engine isn't working and the dilithium crystals are barely producing enough power to get us back into deep space . . . . . !
Mr. Spock, your thoughts . . . . ?
Jim, logic tells me that if we cross-link the anti-matter boost to the inverse transmorgriphal reciprocator, that should overcome the effect of bad writing and give me something relatively intelligent to say!
Gentlemen, I'd say we have a solution. Let's get busy.

ABC radio indicated that sensors on board the shuttle said the ship was "struck" this morning by unknown object....
I sure hope this is not the case, if it is, this could be very bad news. We could lose the bird.

I wish. Maybe she'll fall off that mirrored cross next time she does her little show.

We don't need any more humor on this topic, friends. We might better start a prayer thread.
