'Swift Boat' Money Man Has New Target AP BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Sept. 19) - A group behind automated phone calls attacking Democratic congressional candidate Baron Hill is being funded by the Republican donor who helped bankroll the Swift Boat attack ads on Democratic Sen. John Kerry's war record.

Indiana is investigating phone calls targeting a congressional candidate.

Bob J. Perry, a Texas homebuilder with close ties to White House adviser Karl Rove and former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, recently donated $5 million to the Economic Freedom Fund, a newly created California group targeting Democratic candidates.(snip)

So is any of this activity "illegal" as they choose to infer by the sinister use of language?

Otherwise why is it even considered as "news"..?

That comment by AP is outrageous. There were 160 plus 'swiftees' that substantiated that John Kerry was a complete phoney.

"I view Hillary Clinton as a great danger to Jews if she is elected."

former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir
Jewish Press, July 2000

I... underestimated the propensity of my people for narrow-mindedness and self-destruction (the Jewish vote for Mrs. Clinton was about 70%)....

Some anti-Semitism is irrational, founded in ignorance, as in Hillary's case....

But other forms of anti-Semitism can be earned, giving folks legitimate grievances against a people because they do crazy things like EXTEND HILLARY CLINTON'S POLITICAL LIFE!

This is not to cast the entire blame on Jewish New Yorkers; they alone couldn't have elected her. In my initial optimism, I equally underestimated the urban pseudo-intellectual's high-mindedness, as well as the Everyman's yearning for celebrity in his midst.

"Once I read that when all the POW's returned home, they were shown on TV getting off a plane: all but McCain were emaciated and starving while he looked hale and hearty"

I recall seeing a tape of him getting off the plane, and he could barely walk. It was a struggle to stand erect and give a salute, but he did, and it was very moving. I have problems with a lot of McCain's current choices and actions, but have great respect for his service.

Of course not. It's only an attempmt to align SVBVFT with telemarketers, loss of privacy shenanigans, Big Corporate Republican Money, lying, illegal activity, and the devil...

...instead of aligning the Swifties with what they actually stand for... Justice, dignity, honor, truth, character, and America.

I wish they'd investigate and tell us the truth about McCain. Once I read that when all the POW's returned home, they were shown on TV getting off a plane: all but McCain were emaciated and starving while he looked hale and hearty.

I've also heard that he did get special treatment because he went along with those who emprisoned him. What is the truth?

I'm in the "McCain is a traitor" camp. There is lots of material to read about the man, but one thing is certain. This latest stunt of his to so publicly reject our President and refuse to give our military terrorist interrogators specific do's & don'ts is very transparent. He is more concerned about al-Qaeda than the safety of our country, and that in my book, makes him a traitor.

John McCain is no hero, but you can decide for yourself:

I live in Baron Hill's district.

After he lost in 2004, I started getting calls from a group called American Family Voices, who was providing negative commentary and spin on Sodrel. They immediately seized the Abramoff scandal and tried to tie Sodrel to it.

I finally told them to remove me from their list.

The only automated call I have received is an automated survey pointing out Baron Hill's positions on various topics and asking if I were more or less likely to vote for him based on his positions.

Awesome site.

Regardless of how Mclame was/was not treated as a POW, he is a anti-American traitor now. He knows this, which is why he continually attempts to stand on his war record instead of his current political mandate.

Thanx. :)

"It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr
THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT?
clinton legacy of lynching update
by Mia T, 7.23.05

Ironically, the logic of this pronouncement by Martin Luther King would, in short order, be refuted by the reality of his own lynching. King's hope was misplaced and his reasoning was circular. The resultant rule of law relied on by King presumed an adherence to the rule of law in the first instance.

Adherence to the rule of law is not something normally associated with the clintons. Moreover, racial and ethnic disrespect, intimidation, exploitation and hate have always been a fundamental clinton tactic and the reflexive use the "N"-word and other racial and ethnic slurs, an essential element in the clinton lexicon. When the "first black president" and his wife ran Arkansas, the NAACP sued them for intimidating black voters at the polls.

I got a push-poll from the Menendez for Senate campaign over the weekend. It had such wonderful questions, like "Does the fact that Tom Kean supports the President's failed policies in Iraq, which endanger American soldiers and make attacks in the United States more likely make you Less Likely or Much Less Likely to support Tom Kean".

I don't think that is quite how Gallup words the questions. I could be wrong, though..

So glad you enjoyed it. I cannot wait to see who wins this 'showdown' and pray that it won't be McCain and the other three traitors.

I truly do believe that this is all about blackmail. /tin foil hat.

Here in East Tn. Ford Jr. is running an add filmed in a church as back ground.
I guess the separation of church and state only refers to the GOP.
How many times have I watched Bill and Hillary, the Rev. Jackson and Sharpton use Black churches to propagate their political agenda?
I would hate to see the uproar if James P. Kennedy or other conservative ministers did this ploy.
