Christians don't lose to Muslim attacks in the free exchange of ideas.

The problem is that the Muslims are using bombs and bullets. Not ideas.

"The problem is that the Muslims are using bombs and bullets. Not ideas."

Our ideas are better...but so are our bombs and bullets. It's time we started expending a lot of all the above. Islam understands one thing: power. We need to demonstrate power, and the unflinching moral authority to use that power.

We do not look strong with the sort of self-loathing approach we currently take to international conflict.

Were I "King," I'd declare REAL war, and start attacking every terrorist stronghold I could identify in the Muslim world. I'd level every neighborhood I could identify where terrorists were harbored and supported.

Tehran? Level it.

I'd make it so painful to even be near a terrorist that no Muslim would consider it.

Right, and President Bush has the right idea of what this is not, in terms of earthly conflict. It is not Christians vs. Muslims.

He also knows what the conflict actually is and what it must become, though pragmatically, it is not just "right vs. wrong." It must be seen as Koran-believing Muslims vs. the World.

And that is why he's dropping by lower Manhattan, today.
