It is matter of sovereignty. Do you think you should be able to sneak into mexico and take a job, then NOT get deported when caught?
It is a matter of private property. Do you think it's OK for these hordes to be trampling across your ranch, shitting and littering and giving you the finger as they flagrantly break the local, state and US laws?
It is a matter of security. Do you know that more than a small number of ME men have been caught crossing the border? How many get thru? If they have the same success rate as the mezcans, then way too many. One is too many. Do you know that thousands of criminals and previous deportees come across each year?
It's a matter of finances. While overall, some may benefit from the labor, keeping some prices low, is it fair to the magnet cities and the border towns to have to put them in jail and feed them and give them free medicine? It's a gross miscarriage of justice.
It's a matter of fairness. That somebody can come across the border illegally. Hideout for 2 or 5 years, then be given a path to citizenship. How many people have relatives that have been waiting for many years just for their papers to immigrate? Because you are mexican, you get a priority over a jamaican, a haitian, a dominican, a irishmen? I call BS.
Fix the border, then we can hash out how best to get workers.
