Me too. He kind of reminds me of the some straight-shooting, common-sense, salt of the earth guys I knew growing up.

I've never met Charlie Daniels, but if I did, I bet I'd like him.My wife's nephew was his driver in Charlie Daniels' most recent visit to our troops in Iraq. He reported that he is a humble, great fellow. The troops over there loved him and vice versa.
