Interesting that you can't name a significant "Moderate Muslim" leader; neither can I. Can anyone?

I, personally, believe there are large numbers of "moderate muslims", who have no one to speak for them. If I am correct, this indicates a that massive leadership "vacuum" exists. Who will fill it? Could it now be that the Catholic Pope, as regards "religion and violence" has become the "Hope", voice and de facto leader of moderate muslims?
