Yes, he is. He has his hair cut at the same place that my husband does and he and my husband talk there, when they have appointments on the same day. :-)
The CDs are mastered off his original recordings.

Singing along with an "artiste", goes back to English Music-hall and can also be traced to America's vaudeville, of the same time period.
When talking movies became popular ( you'd get two movies, at least on short, a cartoon or two, news, and coming attractions ), many shorts were made, with FOLLOW THE BOUNCING BALL. So no, Mr. Miller is NOT at all responsible for singalongs, nor karaoke. And now you know. :-)
