Knitting a Conundrum put together a great list so far per the Pope......

a small collection of quotes I picked up over the day:

But when the Pope suggests Islam is violent, Islam becomes...violent. Here a question for you Moral Equivalence fans: Have you noticed that "radical Christians," although just insulted by Rosie O'Donnell, are not rioting or threatening anyone's life?

Robert Spencer

Insulted by the suggestion that their religion was violent, thousands of young men took to the streets to threaten violence. - The UK Telegraph

What is also undeniable is that whereas the claims of Islam to be a religion of peace have been unceasingly made, almost all the Islamists have justified their terrorism in terms of religious obligation. - Swapan Dasgupta, The Pioneer

Should the Pope apologize for saying that Islam isn't a Religion of Peace, or should Muslims apologize for having let their religion become what it is? Let's look at the numbers:

Since we've been keeping track, at least six priests, 14 pastors and thousands of Christians have been murdered in the name of Islam in the last five years. This even includes 382 who were slain by Muslims in or on the grounds of a church in countries like Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Turkey and Bangladesh.

By contrast, we can't find a single incident since 9/11 when a mosque leader or ordinary Muslim was murdered in the name of Catholicism. - TROP

"Honestly, the thin-skinnedness of many Muslims is getting awfully tiresome. How on earth are we ever supposed to be able to have a dialogue if the non-Muslim side has to walk on eggshells to avoid offending the wounded sensibilities of Muslim leaders, who seem very eager to take gross offense at anything critical?" Rod Dreher, Beliefnet

The Possum surprised me by supporting the President over McInsane. I usually skip the first half of FNS and just watch the roundtable because I love to see Brit slap Juan around. Sadly, Juan was absent(more on why I think that happened in a moment), but Mara and Nina both filled the 'clueless liberal' role for him.

Mara was MIA for awhile on "Special Report", but since she's back, and spouting the DNC talking points shamelessly, I think she was sent to a RAT/MSM re-education camp to get the latest brainwashing. It must be Juan's turn for the next two or three weeks. Even Mort seems to have veered radically leftward in the last couple of weeks, so you have to wonder if he's been to the camp as well. ;^)
