I didn't even know there WAS such a place as Kazakhstan.
They should be happy to get this attention!
The only thing that Kazkhstan is famous for is that the Russkies sent up their missiles from their Cosmodrome that was situated there. Other than that, it seem to be a place much like the other 'stans: dry and poor.
One of the former Soviet republics. Used to be mostly Russian but the numbers have dwindled in recent years. Now only a quarter of the population is Russian. Muslims and Kazak nationalists have been talking more and more about policies designed to drive out non-Kazaks (guess that would also mean non-Muslims).
Now who wouldn't make fun of a place like that?
