Neither O'Donnell nor ABC has apologized
ABC's Rosie O'Donnell told a nationwide audience this week that "radical Christians" are the same as radical Muslims who piloted hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers, who chop off the heads of individuals and who bomb innocent children in suicide attacks. O'Donnell made her comments as host of ABC's "The View."
"Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state," O'Donnell said. She had been saying that America was attacked "not by a nation." She continued: "And as a result of the attack and the killing of 3,000 innocent people, we invaded two countries and killed innocent people." Even her liberal co-hosts were shocked by her comments.
Co-host Joy Behar protested that Christians are not trying to impose mass murder on America. "This group (radical Muslims) is threatening to kill us." Replied O'Donnell: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries. True or false?"
O'Donnell was saying there is no difference between the radical Muslims who kill in the name of Allah and Bible-believing Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus.
Neither O'Donnell nor ABC apologized for the comments. Had she made similar comments about minorities or homosexuals, there would have been an apology, and she would have probably been fired.
The message from ABC is that bashing Christians is acceptable, even comparing them with murderers who kill in the name of Allah.
Didn't take Rosie long to remind people why she lost her own talk show.
You said -- "I thought it meant someone like Eric Rudolph, who'd blow up innocent people in the name of God."
Naaahhh..., that's more of a Catholic Tradition (maybe more historical now, however), who liked to persecute and kill other Christians. I think Eric Rudolph was reading too much into his own Catholic traditions. He should have stuck with Evangelical (historic and true) Christianity.

You said -- "We are not that far gone."
Well..., if not, then not too much longer.

My aunt likes Tom Cruise, so she takes my TV remote, puts it on Oprah, and I witnessed first hand the couch jumping kerfuffle everyone talked about around the water cooler to this day.
Rosie the last of the Lickalottapuses.
Probably one of the most stupid women to ever get rich making people laugh. At least she used to make people laugh before her brain rotted from inhaling while having sex.
She is one sick woman. It makes one think how even a bona fied lesbian fruit cake can fall so low as to have sex with her.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Watch the ratings for "The View" drop now that Rosie O'Donnell is on the show. O'Donnell just isn't a likable person. I'll bet she is fired or walks off the show within six months.
And who will Rosie blame for her failure? Why all those Christians who are out to get her. What a idiot.
>It's not the "View" anymore. It's the Rosie O'Donnel Show!
>She's totally taken it over.<
Oooops! There go the ratings!

If you want on (or off) this Catholic and Pro-Life ping list, let me know!
"They have been so nice I would hate to break it to them that I really prefer Nietzsche to the Bible." - Eric Rudolph
Definitely not a Christian in any traditional sense of the word.
And is a sure fire channel changer to another show out in their TV audience the other cast members have worked all these years to get.
Rosie who?
Who is he?
Christians, stand tall and let His light and love shine through you to all who know Him not.
"Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam"
Precisely. That's why I don't eat at cafes anymore or ride a bus - any minute some crazy Christian can enter and blow the whole place up.
Rosie is a woman of constant sorrow - everyday she risks being stoned (literally) for various transgressions that include arguing with Christian males, dressing provocatively and not covering her face, driving a car or making a sweet love to another woman. Horror!
