A Question that needs to be asked of Kerry in the next Press Conference he holds, "Senator Kerry, have you ever been the recipient of a BAD CONDUCT DISCHARGE?"

"... BAD CONDUCT DISCHARGE?"
He would have been lucky to receive that.

A Question that needs to be asked of Kerry in the next Press Conference he holds, "Senator Kerry, have you ever been the recipient of a BAD CONDUCT DISCHARGE?" If Carter pardoned him, he would legally be entitled to say, "No." A pardon wipes the slate clean. That's the way it works.

He would not have received a BCD unless as the result of a court martial. If memory serves, he could have received a general administrative discharge, however, either "Administrative under honarable" conditions or "other than honorable conditions."
I doubt he ever was court-martialed.
