Asia Times: OBL in Afghanistan

The often outrageous Asia Times reports an exclusive as to the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden, only worth mentioning because something is brought up that is not usually covered.

Exclusive information obtained by Asia Times Online shows that the al-Qaeda leader recently traveled from the South Waziristan tribal area in Pakistan to somewhere in the eastern Afghan provinces of Kunar and Nooristan, or possibly Bajour, a s mall tribal agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Area of Pakistan in North-West Frontier Province.

According to a witness, bin Laden traveled in a double-cabin truck with a few armed guards - not in a convoy. Apparently, this is how he now prefers to move around.

All the above sounds reasonable, sure, but the Asia Times then reports the wonderful news that OBL has recovered from a kidney ailment. What kidney ailment? Has that not been proven to be a complete hoax?

Therefs certainly reason to believe this method of travel is being used, as it would be far easier to hide within one car rather than a convoy, but Al Qaida leaders in Waziristan have traveled in burqas posed as women, and that supposedly includes OBL himself. Naturally a 6Œ4 woman isnft exactly a common sight here, much less in Pakistan or Afghanistan.

Anyways, it is the Asia Times therefore they could just be making the entire thing up like theyfve done, oh, so many other times.

Was that a real circumstance? I've heard that maybe it was a media set-up.

I hope this isn't true. It'd be very sad to think that the Asia Times can find Osama's caravans and a Hellfire missile can't.

In other news, Osama has taken on the mantle of a funeral director to protect himself from Predator drone strikes.

Perhaps he never left because he died there. If he's not dead, I would love to see him caught wearing a burka.

At his height, he'd be forced to ride in a crew-cab. He used to drive around in an old mercedes bus.

If he hides in a cemetery, he's safe.

You told me a couple weeks ago your heart was no longer in it.

(Also I saw that Cap Huff had pinged you in thread 10, just a hair over 3 minutes after the Elvis.)
