Future considerations notwithstanding, the fact is that until a new law is signed by Dubya the current rules against sharing CIA intel with al Qaeda "lawyers" stands.

I don't really see the harm in giving that information to people on their way to the gallows. It's not like any of the top tier guys are going to walk. The trials won't be open to the public anyway, due to the classified nature of the material.

So tell KSM everything. Everything. Give him the unfiltered vision of his crimes, pursuit, and capture. Let him reflect on the futility of it all, in his last few days on Earth.

I do.
They talk, they talk to their Lawyers, they talk to other prisoners. For exhibit "A" of this, {IIRC} the lawyers of those jailed for the first WTC bombing were forwarding classified intel they received as evidence to terrorists in Egypt.
