I didn't think we could call a spade a spade here - or more appropriately, these bastards, bastards.

Yeah a third party might work as a spoiler for 2008 but McCain is too far Left now to run it. He only spoils the Democrats play now.

Ditto, but I hope we all flood these bastards with calls and emails tomorrow. Obviously these three traitors aren't up for re-election and are more than happy to sell our country to the dems and terrorists.
True elephants never forget!!!

They are hoping that Conservatives get demoralized and stay home.
Then these jerks would have more power in the Minority.
Wrong.
Not voting is Un-American. And to believe that Conservatives will not vote proves that these jerks are not Conservatives.
Conservatives will vote in large numbers in 2006 and crush any hopes for these asses.

The only problem for their primary opponents is the Republican National Committee would not want them (Graham, Warner or McCain should they run) heavily criticized for this.
Could cause a minor rift within the GOP.

Maybe had flight 93 hit the Capitol Building, attitudes would be different. Still, thank God it wasn't.

As far as I know..Graham has never been a CIA agent...so what makes HIM the expert???
The Geneva Conventions...which shouldn't apply to these terrorists anyway...were written over 50 years ago...and they have worked up until now...
SO...who died and made Graham and the others SO MUCH smarter than decades of other people??

We got to take the RNC back. We have been suckered. Who ever is making those decision needs to be fired today. NO money to the Party. Give it directly to good canidates.

Sounds like we may be making a very big mistake. The reasoning by taking them alive is twofold. One, is that shooting them looks bad. Two, is that we want to interrogate them.
Not much we can do about the first one. The firing squad is justice, but it's grim, and it'd just be a matter of time before someone would videotape one and put it on the internet. Our fear of bad PR runs deep.
The second one is a little more complex. We don't get much out of most interrogations of mid to low level guys, aside from things that they think we already know. Sometimes we already do, but sometimes we don't, and there are occasional gems that come out of talking to them. Mostly, though, they know to deny everything, because all we're going to do is get frustrated and stop asking.
As far as KSM, Abu Zubaydah, and the other big fish, they had to face a far harsher line of questioning. They were made to speak, and speak at length. If that technique is going away, then there's really no advantage for us to take non-uniformed prisoners.

McCain may not believe in physical torture but he sure knows how to dish out mental torture with his idiotic decisions to the American public he's supposed to be representing. He won't be satisfied until he gets us all killed. It's like he has a vengeance on his own countrymen for the years he spent in captivity and his twisted mind is telling him it's payback time.

I contribute to the RNC in presidential election years only.
In the others years, I give directly to candidates of my choice.

Best way to marginallize Grahm/McInsane etc? Send more solid Conservatives like Tom Coborn to the Senate. Every addition Conservative vote reduces the ability of the RINO cowards to vote with the Democrats and screw us like they did today

To: ZULU
On the other hand, McCain may be anticipating he's not, and planning an independent run in 2008. ***Bingo*** John McCain has made a deal with the devil, that is for certain. I wouldn't be surprised if he did run for Prez as an independent, which will put Hillary in the White House just like Perot handed the electioin to Bill.

I would say it more likely that the RNC has been suckered. I understand McCain and Graham. I do not understand Warner.
And Colin Powell (aka Snake in the Grass) came out this afternoon supporting them.
I am as mad as I have ever been. That Lindsey Graham must have some incriminating photos in someone's hands; he is absolutely the WORST prig know-it-all and non-team player! He is worse than Chaffee, who is known for being squirrely and having a liberal constituency. What's Graham's excuse? You can't tell me South Carolina supports this crap!

Then the solution is to send even more solid Conservative like Tom Coborn to the US Senate. Every vote to the right in the Senate futher marginalizes the damage RINO cowards like McCain/Garham/Warner can do. Pluse with Frist leaving MAYBE we get a real Senate Leader who will use his position to cut these clowns. You want to play footsie with the Demos Senaor, fine, NO campaing money, no Chairmainships, NOT a single bill you want will make it to the floor.. YOU are politicall dead to us Senator as long as you continue being more loyal to the Democrats then the ones who brought you.

The other two don't surprise me, but what the heck is up with Warner? When did he suddenly turn into this wimp?30 years ago John Warner married Elizabeth Taylor for a few years. He is both vain and foolish.
