My Mom too. It really sucks. I told my neighbors here to let me know if they start seeing signs. I'm not going that rout.

My exact sentiments. The experience has changed me in many ways...I'm talking about assisted suicide...there was no reason for mom to suffer the way she did in the last few days and weeks. Nor was there any reason that my father, who took care of her to the very end, should have had his emotional health and financial viability endangered.
Mom's doctors were of no help...It was Hospice of New York that offered the help and comfort we needed.
