....So I always sealed up the envelope (with nothing in it) and sent it back to them, without placing a stamp on it, naturally. Eventually, I stopped getting mail from them.

I always liked sending them play money.

Sheesh. Thank you for posting that vanity. I'd say, be afraid, be very afraid- those people are nuts. I'd be as paranoid as you sound. Want my advice? Call you local Republican congressman, if you dont have one, call the GOP member closest to your district who might be interested in hearing your story. If I were you, I'd want protection.

As an aside, my favorite is when the New York Times wants to solicit me for subscriptions or take a survey. My standard line, "You're from the New York Times? Put this down beside my name: I think your publisher is a seditious traitor and should tried for treason and the rest of you hung under the Sedition and Espionage Acts.' You sure you've got all that? Good." *click*

I always liked sending them play money.

I like sending it back with "F*** you, traitors!"I do that with Amnesty International, the ACLU and all the other liberal nut bags who somehow get my name. It's fun to cost them money for the cost of the return postage. That is my small donation.

With all the big brother cameras and high tech face recognition capabilities at our government's disposal, no serious voter fraud can occur without sanction…or am I missing something here?

You REALLY need to check with your county to make sure your party affiliation has not been switched to D.

It has happened several times the past few years.

Sorry, disregard my statement about your registration. I found my glasses and read your statement and see you are not yet a citizen.

We look forward to having you join our ranks when you take the oath!!

"I'd bet a new Barry Grant carburetor that your name is on the rolls as a registered voter, probably with some dead person's social security number."

The only carbs I care about are the ones on my 454. Sigh, sold long ago. You would loose that bet, one rodder to another.

GM sells new ones in a crate every day for under $5,000. Get one.

One rodder to another, I don't think it's very likely for anyone to match the bet against me!

I think he's been registered.

Perhaps the DNC bought the mailing list of all those whose paperwork is in progress.

I though it was illegal for USCIS to sell or disseminate that information.

Perhaps this really is just unsolicited junk mail

Yes.  Wasn't there a check-off area to donate to the DNC?

The RNC also sends out equally dimwitted surveys with multiple nitwit choice reply 'dots' that can be read by an optical scanner.

I take a black marker and write with 2" letters 'no more donations as long as the RNC supports RINOs' and send it back to them.

I’ve gotten mailings and surveys from the DNC asking me as a “loyal Democrat” to support the cause. LOL!

I’ve also gotten mailings from NARAL and Planned Parenthood and PETA. And I’m glad because I’m always up for a good laugh.

And I’ve been a registered Republican since 1980, when at eighteen I voted in the first election I could and voted for and campaigned for Ronald Regan and I’ve voted in every single election ever since, as a Republican. I also campaigned for Bush Sr. My brother also campaigned for Regan and Bentley here in MD and years before for Goldwalter.

I never changed my party affiliation and I voted yesterday in Maryland as a Republican – Go Bob Ehrlich – Go Mike Steele – Go Anne McCarthy!

But this is Maryland and I used to live in Baltimore City so maybe my “dead self” registered as a Dem without telling me.

Do what I did; don’t worry how you got on their mailing list and return the survey, answering as your conscience dictates and take joy in imaging their little liberal heads explode when they read your responses.

It will bring you the same kind of happiness I got from playing with telemarketers.

Some guy called me one Saturday about a timeshare in VA. I let him do his pitch, asked all kinds of questions and kept him on the phone forever. Then I asked him where I had to go and he said “Virginia”. I said, “Oh. I’d really, really like to go but I can’t”. He asked why. And I said “Well I can’t leave Maryland”. And he asked “Why?” And I said, “Because if I leave the state, I’ll be in violation of my parole”. I heard a click... All the nerve! He hung up on me and never called back!

It’s the little things in life that give me such pleasure.

Some time, ask me what I said to they guy trying to sell me replacement windows.

Hi, Doc.....don't sweat it.

If you never registered in your county, you're not registered.

There's a million different ways you can get on the mailing lists of both political parties. They buy or latch on to mailing lists from every source available.

The party campaign managers and chairmen know the lists are not fully accurate....but they don't care. They play the averages.

When I ran for office (successfully) years ago, I used a mailing list print-out of registered Republicans available from the county clerk.

After I mailed out my brochures, I received a nasty, whiney and sobby phone call from some babette who was all bent out of shape because the brochure she received was addressed to her dead husband, and it "brought back the grief". She tried to do a real number on me.

Of course she never had hubby's name expunged from the voters list, a simple-enough thing to do by calling the county clerk's office.

I'd betcha if she received a letter addressed to her deceased husband that there were some death benefits mistakenly denied his estate, she would have been jumping with joy. No "grief" there, LOL.

She obviously was an angst-ridden, Ophra-watching DemoRat.

The point I'm making is that don't get excited over something that is undoubtedly nothing. There's no hidden personal agenda directed just to you when you get mass-mailed political literature. You're just another pretty face.

You can always go to your county complex and anonymously check the voters rolls on their lists or computers if you feel the need. You DON'T have to give your name. It's public information.

The voters' names are listed alphabetically, and in most counties you can ask for the reverse....i.e., the list by addresses.

Best wishes to you.

That's felony isn't it?

Oh yea. doc30 can bait them on it, if he mentioned he wasn't a citizen and they would say "that's no problem" there would be a case.

I though it was illegal for USCIS to sell or disseminate that information.

USCIS doesn't have it but the Dept of Labor does. It's all a part of public disclosure. Anyone issued a green card through employment has all their personal information (address, phone number, employer, etc.,) listed in a downloadable database. It's part of a disclosure system to help make sure permanent immigrants aren't taking jobs away from U.S. citizens. But my information is more recent than the date ranges they have available.

My guess is that the DNC got your name from an INS list.

They believe if they send you materials telling you you're a democrat, then when you become a citizen and can vote, you'll assume that have to vote democrat because you've been told you are one.

Typical slime from the dummy rat party.
