Thanks Blam. When this has come up in the past, it is either used as a pretext to say that Neandertal made no tools, or later is bashed to say that the sites were occupied in succession.

a tall glass of the usual, please:
The Neandertal Enigma
by James Shreeve
Frayer's own reading of the record reveals a number of overlooked traits that clearly and specifically link the Neandertals to the Cro-Magnons. One such trait is the shape of the opening of the nerve canal in the lower jaw, a spot where dentists often give a pain-blocking injection. In many Neandertal, the upper portion of the opening is covered by a broad bony ridge, a curious feature also carried by a significant number of Cro-Magnons. But none of the alleged 'ancestors of us all' fossils from Africa have it, and it is extremely rare in modern people outside Europe." [pp 126-127]

Big fat Doh. Beowulf wasn't written by Dan Rather. There were and continue to be "interactions" between humans of varying development. You aren't going to convince me a Maury Aboriginal is the same strain of human as an a Dutchman for example.
Beowulf and his clan wiped out a good number of these bloodlusting, queen mother obeying brutes.

One doesn't have to look far to realize that Neanderthals did not go extinct. Just look at Congress as living proof.

Since modern humans and Neanderthals seem to have overlapped for thousands of years in Europe, the big question is: did they interbreed? They inbreeded, became neansexuals and aborted their babies. Humans would not sex them, they were toooo uglyyy, so they died out, just as dummycRAT tribe is going to.
According to my series research and digging in the dumps of the world.

Nothing new here. Neanderthals (a.k.a. democrats) and humans (a.k.a. republicans) continue to live side by side.

Since modern humans and Neanderthals seem to have overlapped for thousands of years in Europe, the big question is: did they interbreed? Based on some post-party experiences I had in college, I would say definitely yes.

Neanderthals and humans lived side by sideInterbreeding is why they are no more. Only logical answer.
I still say that is where Down's Syndrome comes from, a throw back of some sort.
