I'm given some thought to starting a Minnesota PING list.
Right now, I envision it would be a fairly moderate PING list - not in politics, but in the number of PINGs you're likely to receive.
If you're interested in being on the Minnesota PING List, let me know.
Please add me to the list--
Thanks!
I know how you feel. We finally bit the bullet and moved out of Minneapolis 2 years ago.
We now live in Carver County, the most conservative county in this blue state.
It took awhile to adjust from urban living to ex-urban living, but now I love it. People are still sane here. LOL
I know, Barb. I know.
I was watching the Sec of State's web site last night and Erlandson had a nice lead - albeit with only 22 precincts reporting.
The numbers didn't move much from 9 'til 10PM and then the local news said he was winning by a large margin.
I seriously felt sick! I really did. I still do. I'm amazed that the DFL could endorse such a ethically-challenged bigot like Ellison.
I gotta hand it to Ellison though. He put together a coalition of blacks, Hispanics, Somalis and guilt-ridden white liberals into a winning formula.
It also helped him that the white vote was split amongst three other candidates. If there had been one opponent against Ellison, he likely would have lost.
As for moving, try west Bloomington, Burnsville or Eden Prairie. That's still GOP turf out there.
Barb, don't know if you saw this
Or this
Yah sure,you betcha! UFF-DAH PING!
Sign me up! I moved to MN as part of the "vast-right wing conspiracy" to turn this state red!
Please sign me up too...
Thanks
Please add me to the list. Thanks!
BTW, how was the picnic?
you live in Jersey...shut the F up

Minnesota with volcanoes?
LOL! I like that analogy.
Ya, sure, sign me up der.
Just five of us this year. :(
The weather and life got in the way this time. We'll try August next year.
You are welcome! :)
Count me in.
You do of course know that Reagan stopped all campaign ads a week before the election and that's why Mondale won. Mondale won Mn. by (something like) 3,500 votes.
Does that mean I'm not PING material? You should have known me before I reformed:-)
