The whining of Democrats and ex-Clintonistas about the docudrama The Path to 9/11 has given us all another example of liberal mendacity and hypocrisy. Start with the total silence of the usual civil liberties suspects to say a word about this attempt at stifling someones First Amendment right to free speech. Where are the ACLU and its usual clichés about the chilling effects of such attempts? Where are all the blowhard academics who noisily defended the noxious Ward Churchill? Where are all the quotes from John Stuart Mill usually trotted out on these occasions?
Of course these are rhetorical questions, because we all know that those lofty liberal principles always come down to whose political ox is being gored... [more @CaliforniaRepublic]

I missed it.
Taped the first part but haven't had time to watch it.
How accurate was it?
You can't tape it but it's right here in quality video if you want to watch it.

One thing I took away from it was that many failed policies led to 9/11 and sadly many of them haven't changed.
Thanks!
I'll book mark that site.
I value your opinion ... I typically agree with you.
Too bad...it was more accurate than any other docudrama put on in years. It was filmed much like they did "24", so the realism was certainly there. Rush said only one minute was cut, mainly dialogue..and didn't bother the content of the show. Way over 13 million viewers in the US saw it and it was shown worldwide. Kudos to ABC, which is amazing, that even after the Clinton and DNC assalt, they showed it anyway. It wasn't about CLINTON...it was about a evil terrorist world wide called Facist Islamic Muslim terrorism and how America sat and did nothing during the 90's when it built up to what it is today. The frames showing the attack were riviting.
Pretty accurate, the only problem; paid ABC advisor Richard Clark appeared to be a cross between superman and James Bond!!
at the end it was break your heart, never again, no-wonder-demcrats-were-in-total-panic, never again, and DAMN! good.
and this was after the a few seconds of scenes were "trimed" to allow for clinton ego.
they also added some BS whiner language about this being a docudrama not a documentary AND followed it with a nightline special which was a lame effort to clintonise the spin.
Most of us skipped the BS and focused on the story.
They even had the sounds of the people hitting the street.
Your heart just broke when you saw O'Neil in the staircase as the tower groaned. The priest was saying the rosary in the lobby and he was looking up as the groaning continued. The thump thump of bodies hitting the pavement.
It will make you very angry at the monsters who did this, it will make you very angry at the monsters who protect those who did this. (foreign and domestic)
