It's been a while since the Romans made sport of feeding Christians to the lions, but there's a terrible new Colosseum-style feeding frenzy emerging a new bloodlust for eliminating the plague of uppity Christians right here in the U.S.
Mel Seesholtz
You think I'm exaggerating?
Take a look at what Mel Seesholtz, a Ph.D. and professor of English at Pennsylvania State University, offered up yesterday in the Online Journal, a website that boasts of being established in 1998 "to provide uncensored and accurate news, analysis and commentary."
Seesholtz has his panties in a bunch over opposition by Christians in California to what is euphemistically called there "the Bias Free Curriculum Act."
He holds out for scorn the Capitol Resource Institute, a Christian pro-family lobby in Sacramento, James Dobson's Focus on the Family and me.
I, for one, stand accused by Seesholtz of lording over WorldNetDaily, which, in turn, stands accused of "deceptive and misleading" reporting on the legislation that was ultimately vetoed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And what is the penalty for such crimes in the eyes of this academic who also teaches in the American Studies and Science, Technology and Society programs while feeding at the Pennsylvania public trough?
Apparently, the penalty for opposition to Seesholtz's ideas about "equality" and "respect" is death.
Here's how he concludes his rather lengthy indictment of what he characterizes as "the Christian Right":
"A very wise woman recently asked me, 'Who will rid us of the evil lunatics?'"
His answer: "We will. We must. Public education and a civil civilized society depend upon it."
Though this English prof is long on rhetoric and short on grammar and punctuation, he leaves little room for doubt about who the "evil lunatics" are who must be eliminated from his "civil civilized society."
Among others, the answer is simple: James Dobson, the Capitol Resource Institute and me.
In fact, he compares our collective form of "perverted Christianity" to a 63-year-old self-proclaimed prophet from Texas who reportedly raped a 22-year-old woman because she was possessed of a sex spirit and a lesbian demon.
Seesholtz sees no difference between opposition to California legislation that would indoctrinate all schoolchildren from kindergarten up in the merits of homosexuality, transsexuality and bisexuality without their parents' permission and the use of religion to justify rape.
You talk about "perversion," this is it. You talk about a poisoned mind incapable of distinguishing right from wrong, this is it. You talk about a fascist who wants to use the coercive power of the state to push his own religious views on others, this is it. You talk about a madman who is actively calling for the elimination of those with whom he disagrees in the name of creating a "civil civilized society," this is it.
You'll enjoy reading the distinguished Dr. Seesholtz's resume on the Penn State Abington website. Apparently, the little hatemonger is developing some new courses of study for the unsuspecting skulls full of mush who attend Penn State: "Religion in American Life and Thought," a class in which I'm certain students will get a most unbiased point of view from their teacher.
The good news for Seesholtz today is he's more famous than he's ever been before. The bad news is there are more little, bigoted, intolerant rats like this dwelling in the sewers that are America's universities than you could imagine.
Pennsylvanians, let me suggest you have a Ward Churchill in your midst a hateful little man obsessed with stamping out any and all opposition to the forced homosexualization of America. Do you really want to subsidize the spewing of this kind of venom? Do you really want to employ, at taxpayer expense, a man who, in the name of "a civil civilized society," would rid the world of Christians for the mere "crime" of making their voices heard in the public square?
(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )
Give him a few weeks of reeducation camp and we'll have him handling 6 rattlesnakes.
Big ones!
Does the good professor have an email address?
LOL !!!
I hear he likes "big ones" in every orifice at the same time.
Bump for later
Let me see, where did I put that list......here it is. Vince Foster, Ron Brown.......
Let me go out on a limb here and guess he is a raging homosexual who desperately needs to justify his "lifestyle" of sticking his penis into the rectums of other men.
"A very wise woman recently asked me, 'Who will rid us of the evil lunatics?'"
His answer: "We will. We must. Public education and a civil civilized society depend upon it."
Very true... Time for this guy to be the first example.
My first thoughts exactly. Google finds many examples of his support for gays.
(Another) homosexual-as-violent-predator alert.
I just skimmed this article, but my guess is that he's gay. Too bad so many of them turn their own self-loathing into a projected rabid hatred for others.
It's already begun (the slaughtering of Christians) from Darfur in Africa all the way across the biggest continent to Southeast Asia. Check Voice Of The Martyrs. And the Muslims aren't the only ones attacking Christian missionaries.
As the Good Book says, "And they that rolleth a stone, it shall return upon them."
Does he think that mustache makes him look like Saddam?
I don't think he needs any education in handling "snakes" of all sizes. He looks like he is pretty experienced at that.
Nah, he thinks that mustache makes him look "Butch".
