How about that---
"the triumph of Osama bin Laden"
according the vile, leftwing, muslim promoting Guardian.
.
So, the left once more is pure as the driven snow while Christians are assumed to be idots.
So did the BBC check out the religious affiliation of the Brit who made the movie about a Bush assassination?
I saw no Christian overtones or points made in "The Path To 9/11" at all. Plenty of Islam though.
Now they are really in deep doodoo with their Moslem overlords.
Why are the british now anti religion?
Has Prince Big Ears now abdicated his position as protector of the faith and gone full atheist?
How does the Guardian know that Cunnigham is a conservative? It appears from the article that they only know he's an evangelical Christian. There's no information in the article about Cunningham's political views. Perhaps the Guardian considers the term "religous right" to be an effective smear to use against him.
Whatever else David Cunningham is, he's a pretty good director.
"A BBC spokesman said the organisation did not vet film-makers on their political or religious beliefs."
What - are they expected to?
Just checking. This is a post 1984 world afterall.
Rest assured there even had to be some at the BBC that wished they'd
vetted that C.S. Lewis guy before letting him on the radio in WWII.
(the lectures that are the cores of "Mere Christianity")
however theReagans which was written by two agenda driven homosexuals was a-ok for the UK.
I suspect someone at the BBC just wants a chance to torture David
Cunningham into a confession.
You know, some of the BBC staff are probably into that S&M thing.
To me it looks like a large number of Britons are locked in an indeological battle with American conservatives. Then because American conservatives tend to be religious, these same Britons have become reflexively anti-religous. They are now also automatically in a battle with Judaeo-Christian values to some extent because those relgion-based values are the values of Jewish and Christian conservatives in America. This is another example of mindless left-wing herd behavior in western nations.
So his film is bad solely because of his religion...
Anti-Christian bigotry is politically correct.
Hmmm... Mel Gibson's dad is a religious nutjob yet I'm sure they had no problem with Braveheart (other than the Scots kicking the blue blood's butts).
1. We know of Clarke's odd defenses of the Clinton administration during the 9/11 hearings, but that doesn't mean he didn't do a good job.
2. The central focus of heroism in this motion picure is John O'Neil. Apparently, this is quite apt.
Careful, rintense. There is a huge difference between a religious nutjob and a legitimate Jesus freak. You may or may not recognize it, but that is hardly uncommon.
Truth in posting: I'm the latter.
