I'm not surprised this happened.
It's not the first time.
Nor will it (unfortunately) be the last time.

Good thing Sandy Burglar isn't making the call.

Hopefully he'll have an "unfortunate accident" in a few months when it quiets down. If its not us, don't count out the Germans. Most of their politicians are weasels, but BND and Bundeswehr are serious guys. They can't be thrilled about letting this bastard go.

Yup.
"Robert Dean Stethem : This young Navy diver was returning from an assignment in the Middle East when the commercial jet on which he was a passenger was hijacked by terrorists. He was shot to death, after being tortured, by the terrorists on June 15, 1985."

Fox article says, "On the second day of the hijacking, Hamadi and his accomplices learned that U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem was on board. Hamadi and his co-conspirators beat Stethem unconscious, then shot him to death and dumped his body on the tarmac of the Beirut airport. The hijackers later escaped."

Another example why terrorists, conviced or otherwise, should not be allowed to live. Killing all terrorists is the only way to convince would be terrorists to seek other means to promote their religion or not.
